Ben Sibthorpe

Ben joined CannGen Insurance Services in 2021 to lead the CannGenPRO Division, focusing exclusively on underwriting Management and Professional Liability for the Cannabis/CBD/Hemp industry.

He joined CannGen after spending almost a decade at a leading Specialty E&S Carrier, where he underwrote and managed portfolios of complex specialty D&O, E&O and EPL business. He has spoken at a number of industry and client panels on topics ranging from insurance market conditions to risk management issues, as well as underwriting and claims trend analysis related to Management and Professional Liability. Ben is a licensed Surplus Lines Producer, member of PLUS and holder of the RPLU designation.
