Karl Long is the senior director of risk management for Trulieve Cannabis Corp., one of the nation’s top publicly traded cannabis companies. Long has more than 30 years of insurance industry knowledge and experience. He has held numerous roles with Insurance Office of America, and EMC Solutions. In his current role, Long developed the Cannabis Enterprise Risk Program (CERP), which allows for the identification, ranking, mitigation and financing of all risks—insurable or not—across the entire organization.
